Notion Overclocker - Save Time With 6 Notion Shortcuts Pt. 3
Everyone asked for more memes, so they are here. Get faster and smarter at Notion, through the magnificent, unrivaled power of memes.
Don’t want to spend ages entering an emoji in Notion? Just type a colon and the emoji name.
For example, cry emoji is “:cry”, heart emoji is “:heart”, and fire emoji is “:fire”.
Regular text editors often don’t format your code correctly and CS notes often become a pain. Notion has a built in code block that supports many languages! Just type in /code.
This shortcut is great for those that frequently take notes with multiple sections. It automatically updates in the future if you add/change more headings afterward.
Most of the time when we are coloring text in Notion, we are applying the same color multiple times to different lines. To color 20 lines pink, you don’t have to type /pink 20 times, instead, you can just spam ⌘ shift H.
The above picture isn’t even a meme, this Notion feature is literally a button. When you type /button and hit enter, this menu shows up. Under “Button name”, you can rename the button into anything, such as “Add a new plant page”. Under “Template”, you can drag anything inside, whether it be pages, text, or databases.
This is one of the lesser-known features of Notion. Typing /math and hitting enter creates an in-line equation you can type LaTeX in (which just corrects unformatted text editor math, such as x^2) Although other services already offer this, it is a nice integration that lets you keep your math notes in Notion.
