Nathan Barry - My new paid newsletter
Hey Reader, I've been teasing it for a couple weeks and the day has come. I'm launching my new paid newsletter, all about money. Specifically, what do to when your plans to earn more actually work, and you're stuck on what to do next. This is just for creators earning more than $200,000 per year. I've written so much on how to earn more, that I thought I'd have a little fun and write about the unique challenges once you get money. Champagne problems, as they say. In it I'll cover things like:
...and more. It's just $100, one-time. As I add more content and answer reader questions over time you'll get access to any updates for free. Go buy it here:
Of course this newsletter and the podcast will still continue for free. Speaking of which, let's get back to our regularly scheduled programming: FROM ART OF NEWSLETTERSEric Jorgenson - How to Increase Profits Exponentially by Using LeverageEric is the author of The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness. Naval Ravikant is an entrepreneur, philosopher, and investor. Naval’s principles for building wealth and creating long-term happiness have captivated the world. His book is a collection of Naval’s wisdom and experience from the last ten years. It’s a curation of his most insightful interviews and poignant reflections. Eric’s current project, Building a Mountain of Levers, teaches “how to accomplish superhuman feats by playing a different game — building leverage.” WHAT I'M READING34 Mistakes on the Way to 34 years old by Ryan HolidayRyan writes a piece every year on his birthday about lessons he's learned that year and how he's grown. I loved this year's post and found some really great takeaways. [*] When I look back on my own writing, the stuff that makes me cringe isn’t necessarily even stuff I was wrong about. What disturbs me is the certainty. I thought I knew, but I didn’t really know. I wasn’t even close to knowing. Ego never ages well, even if it was correct in a narrow instance. As I get older, I’d like to think I am more open to nuance, less prone to black and white statements, and humbler in how I come off.
[*] Needing things to be a certain way has continually prevented me from enjoying them as they are.
WHAT I'M READINGStripe: Thinking Like a CivilizationMario Gabriele from The Generalist is a great writer and was on my podcast a while ago. In this article he does a really deep dive into Stripe, the founders, and the ethos behind it. It's fascinating to see how differently they've approached building their business and the results that has created. This is a longer read, so if you're interested, grab a cup of coffee and set aside some time to dig into their story. Thanks for joining me this week, P.S. If you haven't already, go check out my new secret money newsletter. |
