The Trade Desk Inc is a global software company that markets an online platform used by digital ad buyers to purchase data-driven digital advertising campaigns across various ad formats and devices. Through its cloud-based platform, ad buyers can create, manage, and optimize more expressive data-driven digital advertising campaigns across ad formats like display, video, audio, native and social, on numerous devices, including computers, mobile devices, and connected TVs. Their enterprise APIs and integrations with major data, inventory, and publisher partners enable custom development on top of the platform. TTD is the largest buyer of ad units in the Open Internet, which excludes enclosed environments like Facebook, Amazon, and Google that control the end user’s access to certain websites and services.  Their current market cap is $33.60 billion.

Trade Desk has a very good track record of beating analysts' estimates for EPS and revenue for at least the last 3 years. In Q1 2021, they reported an EPS of $0.14 versus the consensus estimate of $0.03. In this quarter, the Company reported revenue of $219.80 million, which slightly beats the estimates of $217 million. The Q2 guidance includes revenue of $259-262 million (consensus estimate is $251.59 million) and adjusted Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization - EBITDA of at least $84 million.
