Story Cauldron - Getting the most out of Story Cauldron
Thanks for reading Story Cauldron, where I investigate stories and storytelling. If you enjoy what you’re reading, please consider sharing this newsletter with a friend. Thanks for being a Story Cauldron subscriber! I’m so glad you’re here. In this quick housekeeping email, I’ll explain how you can choose which newsletter content you’ll receive in the future. Since I started this Substack back in May, it’s grown more than I anticipated. I now have three different types of emails going out to subscribers:
All free and paid subscribers are currently set to receive Story Cauldron articles and Unseen St. Louis content, and paid subscribers receive everything. But for some, that might be too many emails. (Cue sad trombone!) How to adjust your content settingsIf you’re happy with how things are, that’s great. You don’t need to do anything. However, if you’d like to choose which emails you receive, here’s how you can adjust the settings: Step 1: Go to the main Story Cauldron website (https://storycauldron.substack.com) and select the little down arrow in the top right corner.Step 2: Click on My Account.Step 3: Uncheck any section you’re not interested in receiving.Note that if you want my main newsletter, you should leave both “Story Cauldron” and “Story Cauldron articles” checked. You can also read everything online! The beauty of Substack is that each time I send out an email, that content is also available at the Story Cauldron website. So if you miss an email, or want to go back and re-read something I sent out in the past (including catching up on previous chapters of my novels!), it will all be right there. Thank you! Thanks for your support of Story Cauldron. It means a lot to me that you have chosen to give me a few minutes of your time each week. Also, I’m totally open to suggestions and ideas, so please let me know if there’s anything you’d like to read more about, if I’m sending out too many emails (or not enough!), or anything else. And if you’re interested in writing a guest post about stories and storytelling, let me know. My email is jackie @ jackiedana.com and I’d love to hear from you! You’re on the free list for Story Cauldron. For the full experience and to be the first in the world to read my next novel, consider becoming a paying subscriber. |
