Dear AD PRO Community,

This week I want to share news from Clever, AD’s vertical dedicated to design advice for real life. A big part of what we do at Clever is to scout out and report on home products that can actually help make life better. Whether the team is reviewing mattresses or sharing the most aesthetically pleasing dog bowls and lounge chairs, Clever is determined to help everyone source the best design finds.

Each year the team assembles the Cleverest Awards, a compendium of 50 products that stopped us in our tracks. The 2021 edition recently went live and it spotlights pieces that brilliantly fuse form and function. This year, to really unearth the products that helped us get through quarantine and those that we’re excited to use in post-pandemic life, the team reached out to a group of tastemakers—designers, artisans, shop owners, and more—and enlisted their help in curating a spectacular selection of items for the entire house.

It was a tremendous effort and I’m so proud of editors Zoë Sessums, Sydney Gore, and Rachel Fletcher for pulling it all together. I have no doubt that even the most jaded shopper out there will find something totally surprising—and totally must-have. I urge you to check it out.
