Hello,

I hope you’re having a great fall. The team and I have been pretty busy on our end—there’s been lots going on behind the scenes and I wanted to share some exciting news with you: we’re launching more newsletters!

That’s right—in addition to our weekly flagship Friday newsletter and our twice-monthly shopping emails, we’re adding two brand spankin’ new series. We piloted these throughout August with a group of readers (thanks to everyone who participated in these tests—your feedback was invaluable) and we feel really good about them. Now, they’re ready for their red carpet debut in your inbox. Or whatever newsletters do when they debut…

Here’s a bit more about our 2 new newsletters:

Downtime Dilemma (twice a month): Have you ever wondered how to make the most of your downtime? We’re here to offer advice on the best podcasts to listen to while folding laundry, how to carve out time for yourself that doesn’t look like just scrolling on your phone, and how to get closer to our families as adults. We’ll be taking questions from you, our dear readers, and will rally the troops (aka our team and/or circle of trusted experts) to provide the best answers possible. Get your cozy conundrums at the ready—we’re stoked for this Q&A sesh in your inbox. Eager beavers can check out an example here.

Downtime Diary (once a month): We’re asking the most interesting people we know to share their downtime routines. That means their recommendations for books, shows, and products they love. Maybe even a joke or two! It’ll be a real party! Slumber party? Idk but see you there. Here’s an example of what that email looks like.

While I hope that you’re as excited as we are about these new series, we also understand if you’re in the “wait, I really don’t want more emails” camp. No problem. The inbox is sacred, we get it!

You can update your preferences here to customize what emails you do and don’t want to receive from us, at any time.

Thanks for reading—you’ll see the first edition of Downtime Dilemma later this month, and Downtime Diary a couple weeks after that. Want to get involved? Submit your Downtime Dilemmas here and nominations for Downtime Diary here.

We’ve got lots more up our sleeves this fall and winter. Stay tuned, and on behalf of our team, thanks for supporting us as we grow.
