powered by endjin
Welcome to the 127th edition of Power BI Weekly! This week we've been given the Power BI September 2021 Feature Summary, including nice little updates such as Line chart series labels and the new Shortcut expression for CALCULATE which now supports aggregation functions. Also highlighted in that article is the New Admin API to determine who has access to what (Public Preview) and the public preview of Insights, an intelligent new feature in the Power BI Service helping you find the insights in your report more easily. And last but not least, we've been told about the Power BI Embedded Analytics Playground Updates and that the On-premises data gateway September 2021 update is now available.
Elswhere this week, Marco and Alberto have written a comprehensive blog describing how to control drillthrough in Excel PivotTables connected to Power BI or Analysis Services and Marc Lelijveld has put together a nice diagram/flow chart describing the questions to ask when considering Do I need Power BI Premium?
