I love these leaked internal emails. This email is how YouTube started. They originally wanted to make it a video version of “Hot or Not” (that’s what 'H or N' stands for). 
Oh and before Zuck built Facebook, he built FaceMash (a college version of Hot or Not).

I think Chamath is super smart, and very entertaining to listen to. I’ve learned a lot from him over the years.
Last year he tweeted:

2020: Metromile SPACs at $1.3B valuation
2021: Metromile gets bought by LMND for $500m (including ~$250m in cash) 

Ouch. 

Look - I think he’s a baller for creating the SPAC trend (before it was popular) and good for him he made out like a bandit (~$100m per SPAC) … but these companies were not ready, and have performed terribly.

I ain’t mad at him. People are responsible for their own investments. 

The lesson here:  "Just because they’re rich, doesn’t mean they’re right”
