“I’ve lost my drive.”

That’s what I wrote in my journal on Saturday! 😔

I’ve struggled a lot this year, on so many levels, and for the past few months with this newsletter and the idea of being a “Creator.”

I recently took an unplanned break from writing because I had to, and although I came back, I haven’t been able to fully commit to it in my heart. I keep asking myself, “what’s the real point here?”

CCW used to fill me up with energy. Not anymore.

There’s a part of me that wants to stay in my “Web Developer” safe space. It’s an amazing profession—“dreamy” even, especially for remote freelancers like myself. The job I’ve been on for the past 6 weeks has been especially fun and challenging in a good way. So, why am I trying to carve a different path?! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Back to CCW…

My favourite thing about CCW isn’t the newsletter itself. It’s the people I’ve met and the friends I’ve made because of it. I doubt that I’d miss writing CCW, but I 100% would miss meeting amazing people like you.

That alone is the reason why I’m not ready to kill it altogether. Instead, I’ve decided to take an extended break. I’m going to take however long I need to feel energised about being a “Creator” again, or until I figure out a new direction! 🙂
