FTT+: Our Interview with ConstitutionDAO

I hope everyone was able to enjoy Christmas even if plans changed, and that you're happy and healthy heading in 2022! I won't keep you here long, I'm just sending a quick podcast update.

First off, effective Jan 1, “Tux Time” is rebranding to “What’s Happening In Fintech Today.” Tux is very upset, but managing two brands was a bit confusing and we wanted to clean things up.

Second, Jordan and I interviewed two members of ConstitutionDAO right before the holiday! For those that might have missed it, a group of folks got together and set up a DAO that was going to attempt to buy a copy of the Constitution that was up for auction at Sotheby’s on Nov. 18. Over the course of sabout a week, more than $45M was raised.

Then came the main event. Watching the auction live stream that night (around the 2.5 hour mark of that video), or keeping tabs on crypto Twitter, was riveting. You see, we didn’t know which person from Sotheby’s was in charge of our bids. This meant that even when bidding was done, people weren’t sure if we’d actually won or not.
