“ No - It depends on how long the athlete has been without the muscle-building benefits of high testosterone and other male hormones. It depends on whether or not long term studies show whether or not over time trans females' physical potential ever equalizes out with biological females' or whether they always maintain a performance advantage. [...] I am completely supportive of everyone having an opportunity to compete on a level playing field, but if we are being honest with each other we can agree we have not found that in our current setup. I am not sure what the true answer is, since I truly do not want to see a world where people do not feel as though they can express whatever gender identity they feel is correct for them -- however under this current ruleset to avoid discrimination against trans athletes we have inadvertently started discriminating against biologically born women which isn't particularly helpful either.”
