Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit in October to obtain current salary contracts, conflict of interest statements, and information about the doctor’s job description. “Anthony Fauci wields unrivaled political power in our federal government, so it is urgent the American people have full access to his financial disclosures,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said.

The doctor will be making at least $350,000 per year after he leaves his job as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health. Fauci could have retired in 2005 but stayed in his job, which is now paying $434,312 a year, the highest of any federal employee, including President Joe Biden.
    ...
Fauci's finances have been on a steep upward climb for years. Between 2004 and 2007, the Bush administration awarded him a 68% increase to his $200,000 yearly salary to “compensate him for the level of responsibility,” according to an Open the Books investigation.

Should students who test positive for Covid-19 but are asymptomatic come to school?

487 votes, 44 comments

Context: NYC schools ramp up Covid-19 testing to keep kids in class.

HIGHLIGHTED COMMENTS

No - Many teachers and support staff quit after the initial shut down bc schools can't protect them. If a few asymptomatic kids get 5 or 6 staff sick then the whole school has to end up missing days. We saw this right before Xmas with early closures. This is why we need access to regular testing. We can't afford to close schools either by shutdown or by uncontrolled spread of communicable disease. Using mitigation strategies such as quarantine helps keep us going.
