Introducing The Mirrortable

Balaji Srinivasan, former GP at a16z and CTO at Coinbase wrote a post last week on how founders can leverage Mirrortables to better manage their cap table. The post went viral on the basis of a blend between web2 and web3 when working with private market investing tools. It is to be determined if this will get widely adopted but it does solve for core back office problems in investing.

Oculus Is Growing

Oculus had a monster year as they outsell Xbox and dwarf growth from prior years. This is not surprising to longtime readers of this newsletter; I wrote about VR over a year ago about why critics at that point were wrong and VR was just early. I predict a strong few years for VR adoption.
