LastPass isn't holding your passwords hostage, Nissan Leaf isn't going away, Netflix price hike, and more

LastPass is one of the most well-known password managers out there, and generally, it’s pretty well respected. So we saw reports that the company went out of its way to “accidentally” (but really on purpose?) block non-subscribers from exporting their password data; it took us by surprise.

That doesn’t seem OK at all, but when we looked into the details, we could find blind assumptions about the company’s motives. So we dug deeper to get the truth of the story. As it turns out, there IS a bug in the system. But no, LastPass isn’t actively trying to prevent people from exporting data. Check the top story for the whole scoop.
