Everyone keeps asking me what I think of the multiples that websites and other digital properties should be sold and bought for.

I sold my first site over 10 years ago. I sold it for 10x the monthly net revenue. When I first started Nano Flips, 30x was normal.

Now we are seeing more like 36-48x (depending on several factors).

This means that a site making $1k a month, should sell for $36k+. If its for sale for less BE WEARY!

We are still early! And if you are flipping this means even better news for you!

Motion invest normally sells SUPER niche sites. So that has its upsides and downsides, but normally they are well priced and well built.

This site is monetized well, but would be perfect for building a newsletter for new moms using the incoming traffic.

ALSO

• The site is linking to 510 products, of those, 102 are either out of stock or have an error.
• Great opportunity to fix those links broken links and pull extra money from them.
• The site is getting 14,797 visits a month, so conservatively we could gather 300+ new subscribers a month. This is a SUPER lucrative niche full of people spending money and looking to spend money.
• After a year you would have 3600+ subscribers, and you should be able to make $1k a month of that list if monetized well.
• Thats going to increase the value of the site by $36k at the end of the year!
• In total with the growth and changes you would look at adding $40k+ of value to the site when you flip it + the money you make back by owning it

NOT A BAD ROI!

​Where is the money?

Maybe you heard? Microsoft is going gobble up Activision in $69 billion digital real estate bet

This is HUGE, and only leans into the idea of digital real estate. Owning digital assets is the future in more ways than one and Microsoft sees that here.

$69 Billion in an all cash deal is nothing to sneeze at.

The gaming developers that are now owned by Microsoft are some of the largest in the world, and are poised to take advantage of NFTs and digital real estate.

Every time i see a deal like this get done, all I can think is about how this all trickles down into making smaller sites and company valuations go higher as well.

How many website, social channels, and NFT opportunities are there that will come of this?
