January 26, 2022

All right, Wordle fans, admit it: who got tripped up by proxy? How about robot? I know more than a few people who just couldn’t figure out the word of the day (the Wordle of the day?) and hung their heads in shame.

But don’t worry, my loyal Review Geek readers. We got you. Because if you can’t win—cheat. We put together a simple tool that will give you the solution to today’s Wordle word every day. Follow our steps, and you’ll have a handy way to see the answer when you want it (and not before). Just maybe wait until the fifth guess, so no one knows. Don’t worry, we won’t tell. Check it out in the top story.

Other highlights:

  • Oh, thank goodness. One of the absolute worst parts about owning a Google Nest smart speaker is when it starts answering a question you didn’t ask. It drones on and on no matter how much you yell, “Google shut up!” Now, there’s a solution.
  • Lamborghini set itself a crazy goal for the EV market. Crazy.
  • We put together a great list of Word alternatives for when you want to get your write on without an Office subscription.
  • …and more!

NVIDIA Probably Won’t Buy ARM After All

When NVIDIA announced its plan to buy chip designer Arm in 2020, regulators and tech companies immediately voiced concern that the deal would limit access to ARM licenses. With This Mini Keychain Flashlight, You’ll Be Prepared for a Power Outage

A small, yet powerful, flashlight is one of those things everyone needs to own. You can use it to see tough-to-illuminate areas in your basement, car, boat, or garage; to light up your home during a power outage, or even to see where you’re going on early-morning dog walks. Despite being as small as your thumb, the flashlight boasts 1000 lumens and can light areas up to 135 feet away from you. And it doesn’t mess with annoying batteries—simply plug in the included USB-A to USB-C charging cable as needed. It lasts up to 85 hours on a single charger, and even has an IPX8 water-resistance rating, making it perfect for rain, floods, or boating.
