We dropped our State Of Blockchain report today.

Funding in 2021 was off the charts. 

Blockchain startups raised $25.2B, driven by growing consumer and institutional demand for crypto (#wagmi?).

That’s 8x more than the investment in 2020. 

This graph kind of says it all.

US-based startups raked in more than half of all funding in 2021 ($14.1B). With 75% of deals in early stages, the funding surge is likely still in its infancy.

Overall, blockchain funding accounted for 4% of global venture dollars in 2021, up from just 1% in 2020.

We expect this share to rise in 2022 thanks to emerging crypto, NFT, and Web3 startups.
