I swapped Spotify for Vinyl and it changed my life

February 21, 2022

We have many streaming music options between Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, and Amazon music. I didn’t even come close to naming them all. But let’s be honest, streaming music lacks a certain something you don’t get anymore.

Suzanne decided to give up all of her music streaming options for a week and go back to just vinyl. You read that right, not CDs, but vinyl: as in getting out the old (actually new) record player. And according to Suzanne, it changed her life. Check out why in the top story.

Other Highlights:

  • Oh man, these LEGO ‘Boba Fett’ sets look really good.
  • We put together a list of the best tech to help manage stress and anxiety.
  • A newly remastered version of ‘Life is Strange’ is out, and Danny took it for a test drive. He had high hopes, considering he loved the originals. High. Hopes.
  • …and more!

I Swapped Spotify for Vinyl and It Changed My Life

I listen to music every single day—it’s one of my favorite things in life. I also bought my first turntable a few months ago and have wondered what it’d be like to only listen to vinyl for an entire week. So recently, I did just that and I have a lot of thoughts about the experience. Read More »

Protect Your External Hard Drive Case with a Stylish Hard Case

Part of the fun of external hard drives is that they’re portable. You’ll want to keep the hard drive protected during travel, though, which is where a durable storage carrying case, like this one, comes in. It’s made of a tough EVA hard shell with a thick polyester lining that’ll protect it from drops or bumps. Measuring 5.5 x 3.5 x 1 inch, it’s big enough to fit most 2.5-inch drives but still small enough that it won’t take up much space in your bag. It has a strap to keep your drive in place, as well as a mesh pocket for storing cables, earbuds, paper, or other accessories.

The ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Vinyl Soundtrack Includes Unreleased Music

With Rogue One, the Star Wars franchise made an interesting departure from its roots.
