Plot twist: Analysts, customers, booksellers react to Amazon closing physical bookstores

Amazon’s retail plot twist comes as a surprise: Book lovers, sellers and Amazon watchers were shocked, dismayed and even delighted by the news that the company will shutter its bookstores and two other lines of physical retail stores. GeekWire caught up with analysts, would-be shoppers at the original Amazon Books in Seattle, and an independent bookstore owner to gauge reaction to the company’s sudden about-face on some of its bricks-and-mortar ambitions.
