Microsoft cites risk of digital overload in new study: The average workday span has increased 13%, or 46 minutes, in the past two years, as people continue to log on earlier and sign off later than they did prior to the pandemic — and the trend doesn’t appear to be changing, according to a new Microsoft study. Starbucks CEO to retire: Kevin Johnson will depart the coffee giant April 4 as former chief Howard Schultz returns in an interim role. Johnson became CEO in 2017 following a long career in tech, including stints as CEO of Juniper Networks and as a sales leader at Microsoft.
