Every year, we distribute the official National Poetry Month poster to more than 90,000 schools, libraries, organizations, and individuals nationwide. The 2022 poster was designed by eleventh-grader Lara L. from Yonkers, New York, who was the winner of the 2022 National Poetry Month Poster Contest, and features a line from the poem “In This Place (An American Lyric)” by 2021 Presidential Inaugural Poet and 2017 National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman.

Decorate your learning space and request your free copy of the official poster in time for the April 2022 celebration of National Poetry Month, and browse the lesson plan featuring Amanda Gorman’s poem.

Thank you for joining us in celebrating National Poetry Month! Discover more ways to join in the celebration.
