Using performance class to optimize your user experience

Today we're launching the Jetpack Core Performance library in alpha. This library enables you to easily understand what a device is capable of, and tailor your user experience accordingly.

This post is about some of the design, validation, and release decisions we made while building the new camera uploads feature for Android, which we released to all users during the summer of 2021.
