You are at a phase where you must figure out how to carry out your plan. This means you have to make many decisions along the way and plan for the future. As you do your planning, you will make discoveries that will help you know exactly what you want to manifest. Let's now go over the history and the appearance of the Two of Wands tarot card. History And Appearance Of The Two Of WandsThe history of the Two of Wands tarot card is believed to date back to the 15th century when it first appeared in tarot decks. The card was initially known as The Lord of Dominion, representing someone in charge of their own life. In the 18th century, the card's meaning began to change, and it came to represent change itself. The Two Wands in the card were seen as two different paths that a person could take, and the figure in the card was seen as someone who was choosing between those two paths. Today, the Two of Wands is still seen as a card representing change, but it's also seen as a card representing two different aspects of our lives coming together. When you look at the Two of Wands from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, you see a man wearing a red robe and a hat holding a tiny globe. That means the world is in his hands, so that means he has the potential to do great things, but he has to manifest that. He is in his castle, and even though the world is in his hands, he is in his court because he is not quite ready to leave his comfort zone. That means he is still planning what he wants to do. His hand is on a wand, and the other rod is tied to the castle wall, which means he is not ready to expand his horizons. But you can see in the background that there is a fertile land even though it has a rocky appearance. It shows his potential to do well even with the obstacles that may come his way. So let's see what getting the Two of Wands tarot card in a reading means. What The Two Of Wands Means In A ReadingWhen it comes to the Two of Wands tarot, there are a few things that you should know. For starters, this card is all about balance and cooperation. In a reading, the Two of Wands can represent any partnership - whether it be business, romantic, or platonic. Therefore, this card encourages you to find harmony in your relationships and to work together towards common goals. The Two of Wands can also suggest that you are at a crossroads in your life and must make an important decision. This is a card of choices and consequences - whatever you decide. You must be sure that you are ready to face the repercussions. The Two of Wands reminds you that you are the masters of your destiny and must be confident in your abilities if you want to achieve success. If you see the Two of Wands in a reading, it is a sign that you are currently in power. You can make your dreams a reality - but you must be willing to put in the hard work. This is a time to seize the opportunity and to take risks. Trust your instincts, and go after what you want. The Two of Wands is a reminder that you are capable of great things - so don't be afraid to reach for the stars. The gist of it is that the Two of Wands is a card where you need to make decisions and do some planning, but you are not ready to take action yet. For example, you are thinking of moving because you feel it is time to move into a larger home or move to a new location. Although, after all, there may be more opportunities there, then the Two of Wands thing to do is to not jump into it but to begin exploring what is involved in making a huge commitment. You will talk to real estate agents about your options and if moving is genuinely the correct thing for you to do. You will go with the real estate agent you trust the most as developing a relationship with the right one is the key to taking the next step of action, which is moving. That means it would be the time to stage your home to do showings, and eventually, the right individual will buy your home, and then you will be ready to take some next steps. And you have to remember, if you pull the Two of Wands, you can plan all you want. It does not mean that the plan will pan out or manifest the way you want. But you are closer to taking action with this card than with the Ace of Wands. And you can look at this card from a mental health perspective. For example, suppose you are not managing your mental illness, such as depression or anxiety, as it gets the best of you. However, you feel there is motivation to handle it, which would have been indicated through the Ace of Wands. In that case, the Two of Wands thing to do is to make that difficult decision to talk to your care provider and create a treatment plan of action. Therefore, when you look at an example regarding Risa Green, when she was in college, a counselor told her they were concerned about her mental health. That is when they said to her that she needed therapy. So even though Risa was not the one to initiate going to therapy herself, she did agree to do it as that is never an easy choice to make. So that is one example of how the Two of Wands played a role in her life. However, she did not stick with therapy and did not continue to take the prescribed medication for depression. But her agreeing to go is an example of this card. But you can see, as usual, that the Two of Wands, in many ways, represents Risa's life more often than not. Two of Wands ReversedWhen the Two of Wands is in reverse, it indicates the fear of the unknown, so, therefore, you are at a standstill because fear paralyzes you. That is even though you have your new idea. You may also be rushing to go after your goal without the proper planning needed for it to pan out. The former part of this card's position's meaning fits Risa a lot more. She does not do anything to help her marriage, stand up to her parents, stand up to her neighbor, and do anything about her son's future care because the fear of the unknown paralyzes her. She probably knows, deep down, that she must do these things, but her echoism is so strong as her traumatic past takes over to the point that she has no clue how to respond in other ways than using the fawn response. However, aside from that, if you think you want to do something, and you don't do enough planning and take immediate action, that is another way that the Two of Wands reversed comes up. That can mean that you take on a job that would be the wrong fit because the idea of it sounds exciting. That also means you do not read the contract carefully, but you sign it anyway, and then once you are in it, you regret every bit of it! You did not read the agreement carefully, and you did not think it through since you jumped in too soon. Either scenario fits the Two of Wands in reverse, and you do not want to do that. So how can you apply the Two of Wands upright to your life? Applying The Two Of Wands To Your LifeThe bottom line is that applying this tarot card means you need to plan for something you want to do very carefully, make an important decision, or develop more of a report with someone. When you want to apply this card to your life, you want to ensure that you do not go reverse. That means never sign anything before reading it over carefully. If the plan you want to make involves a large life tan enormous or investment such as moving, you want to avoid rushing into it and carefully plan for all of it. The card is also an excellent reminder to not become paralyzed in fear if you're going to do something, but fear prevents you from doing it. For example, if you want to begin writing a novel, commit to starting if that is what you genuinely want to do. Plan for a start date, and begin to brainstorm some ideas. If you feel that fear is holding you back from any of that, take the Two of Wands card and keep it with you to remind you to plan to take action on this! The next card I will go over will take things a step further: the Three of Wands!
