  A recent watchdog report on a United States Postal Service law enforcement program that monitored social media for references to protests raises "privacy and civil liberties concerns for the people caught up in intelligence gathering." Andrea Vittorio reports.

  People should have more notice about the harms of data collection. April Falcon Doss says reform should "address individual and societal harms that result when corporations carry out what amounts to unregulated social science research and experimentation."
