In April, we focused on giving you more control over the marketplace. From messaging to listings, everything got an upgrade – and we have lots more in the pipeline.

Evaluating LOIs now faster and easier

Letters of intent (LOIs) contain a lot of information and it’s not always easy or fast to extract the main points. Now, founders will get a summary of the key information with every LOI, helping them evaluate buyers’ terms much faster. We hope this leads to speedier acquisitions, too.

Asking prices now with context

Valuations without context can cause some heated debate. For clarity, founders can now add the reasoning behind their asking price and valuation. Buyers will then understand the rationale behind the multiple they’ve applied, resulting in fewer wasted conversations.

Chats continue regardless of startup status

Your conversations needn’t end when the startup changes hands. Now, you can chat while the startup’s status is submitted, rejected, or acquired to tie up any loose ends. (The exception is when the startup is archived – you will only be able to view chats, not continue them.)

More chances for rejected listings

Our curation team has made it easier to resubmit rejected listings. We’ll email you the reason for the rejection so you can edit your listing to fix what’s wrong (assuming it’s possible to fix). Then resubmit to our curation team for another review (reviews take 1-2 business days).
