It's easily the hardest form of copywriting there is.

You're writing to convince a single person.  A person you haven't met yet.  You're writing to hopefully attract the right person and that if/when they find what you're writing, the stars align.

The stakes aren't obvious when you're new to hiring.  But once you've experienced the luck of working with someone great, and the setback of hiring the wrong person (my fault, not theirs), you realize how hard (and exciting) the task of writing a letter to a future teammate really is.
