After skirting tauntingly close to the edge, last week, the S&P 500 officially entered a bear market. So now the question on everyone’s mind is: Are we heading into a recession?

It’s a good one, and we’ve heard other questions from you, too — like how did we get here? How does this compare to what happened in 2008? And how long do we think the bear market will last?

I don’t know anyone better to ask than Chief Investment Officer Dr. Sylvia Kwan. So this week, I’m turning the mic over to her. And as always, she has some thoughtful answers for us.

•	Congrats to Chief Lynn Malerba, the first woman to lead the Mohegan tribe, on also becoming the first Native American treasurer of the United States (!). She’ll be heading a newly created Treasury Office of Tribal and Native Affairs, too. 🙌
