The News and Editorial SEO Summit is coming back in 2022!
The News and Editorial SEO Summit is coming back in 2022!Our online event dedicated to all things SEO for news publishers returns for its second edition on October 4th and 5th this year. When John Shehata and myself decided to launch the News & Editorial SEO Summit (NESS) last year, it was one big experiment. Neither of us had ever organised an event before, and we didn’t know if there was sufficient interest in the publishing industry for an event dedicated purely to SEO for one specific niche (news publishing). As it turned out, the success of the inaugural NESS event overwhelmed us. Hundreds of people from over 50 countries attended the event, and we got amazing feedback on the quality and content of the talks. So of course there’s going to be a 2022 edition! News and Editorial SEO Summit 2022We’re very proud to officially launch NESS 2022, taking place online on October 4th and 5th this year. The event will feature an amazing roster of speakers once again, with a keynote from SEO legend Joost de Valk (@jdevalk), founder of Yoast. He’s joined by some of the best and brightest minds in news SEO:
Plus John Shetata and yours truly will give a talk each and host the event. We’ve a packed schedule full of amazing talks and panel sessions across the two days. As with the first edition, NESS 2022 will be fully online and virtual and also fully live - so each session will be live with the ability for attendees to ask questions and engage with speakers, sponsors, and other attendees. The early bird tickets are now on sale until the end of July, so grab yours while you can. Who should attend NESS 2022?
What will you learn at NESS 2022?
For full details on all speakers, the complete schedule, and registration for tickets, go to the NewsSEO.io website. As with NESS 2021, your ticket also gives you access to video recordings of all the sessions, which we’ll release a few weeks after the event. I know, it’s been a while since my previous ‘proper’ newsletter, but don’t worry as the next one is in the works. I tweeted a short thread the other day about the most common issues I found while auditing over 50 publishing websites, and I’ll be expanding that into a full article for this newsletter. Stay tuned!
