We’re still slapping on after-sun and washing burger grease from our fingers. After shipping another batch of updates in June, we felt it only fair to celebrate in (MicroMafia) style.

June’s product update again improved your workflow. No headline-grabbing features, just a ton of tweaks and upgrades to help you do what you need to do faster.

Your next Slack notification might not be another team update, but a tempting acquisition opportunity. Download MicroAcquire for Slack and get instant alerts of new listings, tailored to your acquisition criteria, and with one-click access to the marketplace. Game on!

View and favorite startups “under offer”

Deals can and do fail to close. Rather than give up the chase, you can now view and favorite startups under offer (you won’t be able to see private info, however). Should the deal fail, you’re then in pole position to pick up where the other buyer left off. 

Find verified sellers without startup access

Start acquisition conversations with confidence knowing you’re dealing with a verified seller. You can now see the Verified seller badge from your Startups page and seller chat. You then know the seller has verified their account and ID long before they grant you startup access.

Manage suspended access and LOIs

Once a founder accepts an LOI, they’re “under offer” and can’t discuss their startup with other buyers. With June’s update, sellers can now see buyers with suspended access, and suspended buyers can cancel outstanding LOIs. It keeps both workflows tight and clean.

Know when your acquisition advances

As you progress through the guided acquisition process, you’ll automatically clear each stage and receive an on-screen message (toast) and some funfetti. While this might sound like small fry, really it’s a visual cue to keep you focused and your acquisition on track.
