How Safe Is Two Factor Authentication Exactly?

Read in Browser

July 11, 2022

Ask any tech-focused site, and they’ll all tell you the same: you should be using two-factor authentication. If you’re unfamiliar, two-factor authentication is enhanced security for your online accounts, whether it be your email or the bank. Instead of just putting in your password, you’ll also need to provide a code that’s always changing.

That sounds good, and all but… is it safe? Will it really protect you? We’ll dig into that in the top story.

Wait, wait, before you go, though! Review Geek is hiring! That’s right! We’re looking for an awesome (and experienced) tech writer and editor to join the best and snarkiest club in the galaxy. Our new Associate Editor will get to write about tech, wrangle freelancers, and even whip up the occasional review. Does that sound like something you’d like to do? Or maybe you have a friend who’d love that gig? Check out our job post.
