Quick Tip: Document and Content Language

The lang attribute in HTML should be used to identify the language of web pages and of other-language content within a web page. There are over 8,000 language codes, but in most cases it's best to use the most succinct value for a particular language - typically two characters (e.g., lang="en") is sufficient.
