Why You Shouldn't Buy an Electric Riding Lawn Mower

August 20, 2022

Somehow before I knew it, I got to be that age where the real exciting purchases were things like dishwashers, washing machines, and lawn mowers. Y’know, olllllllld but young at heart. Yep. A couple of years ago, I made just such an “exciting” purchase in the form of an electric riding lawnmower.

In the early days, I thought it was an amazing piece of machinery, and it made mowing my lawn so much better, a task I don’t love. But now? Now I’m here to tell you that under no circumstances should you buy an electric riding lawnmower. Hit up the top story to find out why.

Other Highlights:

  • Right now, you can buy an Xbox Series S and get a free digital game of your choice. Choose wisely, and it can be a $100 video game. That’s a pretty great deal.
  • What isn’t a great deal is taking pre-orders for an “affordable” electric truck and then pulling the rug out on your customers.
  • What’s in a name? Or the look of an O. Enough for Lenovo to send a C&D over a power button, apparently.
  • … and more!
