MicroFounder - Sorry, but you need marketing 🤷‍♀️

We try to remind ourselves that we need to do marketing to earn money with our solo startups. It’s just the way it is.

Otherwise, people don’t know our products exist, and can’t pay us money even though they would maybe happily do so.

📈 Plausible ($83k/mo) is a great example I use often. Solo founder Uku is a programmer who started the product, but Plausible started making money when co-founder Marko joined and started focusing on marketing.

I drew this graph that shows you how it went. Would Plausible be making $1M per year when Marko hadn’t joined? Probably not. But let’s also keep in mind that the product wouldn’t even exist without Uku starting it.

Some things to keep in mind:
