Product Habits - How is your code access managed?

Just the other day, a former Twitter employee who left 18 months ago tweeted about still having access to the company’s code repositories in GitHub. Which is unfortunate considering all the other headlines that Twitter is grabbing right now.

Onboarding and offboarding processes typically control this access but even the largest companies can have gaps.

As we’ve been building Nira, this issue has come up a lot. We’re going to do something about it but first I have a question:

How is access to code in GitHub/GitLab managed at your company and who is responsible for it?

Please reply and let me know!

Thanks,

Hiten
