Hey, here's issue #298 of Switch Weekly — your Nintendo update.

There sure are a lot of rumours flying around this week. I'm always a bit hesistant to go all in on linking to various things — so instead I'll just give you a quick rundown of what has been said right here, some bits seemingly credible and well sourced, others a bit more patchy: A Direct is said to be airing in the next two weeks or so, we may finally see Switch releases of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, that Metroid Prime rumour is back once again, there may be something to keep Switch Online members sweet real soon, F-Zero GX has also been mentioned, there's apparently a Fire Emblem game finished and ready to go, EA are said to be bringing 'It Takes Two' to Switch, and a fresh take on 2D Mario ditching the 'New' moniker has been mooted too. Sure is a lot – GameCube nostalgia coming in STRONG huh? An FYI, a lot of the above comes via the 'Last of the Nintendogs' podcast.

Anyway we shall see. Next week has just over 20 games landing on the Switch — the biggest of which is Splatoon 3 of course. The full list is below for ya. Oh, and last week had plenty of neat looking stuff if you missed it.

▶ The Zelda Nintendo doesn't want you to see — This is a treasure trove of concept art and details for a cancelled Zelda 'Sheik' spin-off project that Retro Studios explored well over a decade ago. The video also offers up some info on a Zelda 'tactics' style game called 'Heroes of Hyrule' that Retro also pitched.

Tower Princess — 3D platforming roguelite. Despite the tired trope here, this looks pretty decent.
Skycadia — Take down sky pirates in this light-hearted flying adventure.
Wind of Shuriken — An intense 2D action platformer.
Game Type DX — An infinitely looping shoot-em up.
Justice Sucks — Home Alone, but your robo-vacuum takes the role of Kevin.
Radical Rex — Retro platformer release.
Pandaty — 2D platformer featuring a Panda.
The Hand of Glory — Point and click adventure inspired by Broken Sword. M for mature.
Catmaze — Witchin 2D platformer/metroidvania inspired by slavic mythology.
