So the latest and greatest iPhones are on the way, and pre-orders open today. But if you weren’t paying attention, you may have missed out on a pretty big change for the phones many people prefer. The iPhone 14 won’t have a SIM tray at all. Instead, it solely relies on a newer SIM technology called eSIM.

But what even is an eSIM, and does your carrier support it? We’ll dig into it in the top story.
