Main Street Insiders - China Wants To Rule The World
Let's face it. You've had a lot of stupid conversations this week. "McDonald's is criminally underrated" "Did you see the Flying Squirrels game?" "This Chardonnay has a buttery aroma" You probably haven't talked about how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is committing one of the worst genocides in history against Uyghur Muslims. Woah. It's the biggest news story in the world, but the news rarely talks about it. Millions of people are being taken from their homes, separated from their families, beaten, raped, tortured, and sterilized by force. There are no gas chambers, but the Chinese are killing them off by preventing them from having kids. Once Uyghurs are re-educated, they become slaves in Chinese factories. The worst part is that many American products are made with Uyghur slave labor. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You're probably wondering why the CCP is after the Uyghurs. It's a long story that goes back a thousand years. What matters is what’s happening today. Because if we ignore it and stay addicted to products that are made in China, we’re part of the problem. Unrestricted WarfareChina plans to dominate the world over the next century. That's a fact. Previous podcast guest Kevin Freeman told us about how in 1999, two colonels in the People's Liberation Army published a book called Unrestricted Warfare. The book details how China could defeat more powerful foes like the United States with alternative tactics. It didn’t generate any hype at the time. But in the two decades since, China has applied its no-holds-barred strategy in a hidden war against the world. And they're winning.
You'd think people would notice that China is taking over the world. But China is conquering us with unconventional tactics. They pay their workers next to nothing and flood our markets with cheap goods. That's why it seems like everything you buy says "Made in China" on it. Our companies can't compete with China's low prices, so they outsource production or go out of business. China has become the factory of the world at our expense. That's just the beginning. China has taken over Hong Kong and is threatening to take over Taiwan too. And China is brainwashing our youth with its social media mega weapon...TikTok. ![]() Chris Fenton @TheDragonFeeder "Chinese employees do have access to US user data. She reiterated that #TikTok has said it would “under no circumstances … give that data to China” & denied TikTok is in any way influenced by #China." Obviously #CCP has no influence over its citizens! https://t.co/GItGMVw043And we haven't even gotten to their most diabolical plot yet. That would be One Belt, One Road, which is China's plan to conquer the world through infrastructure. The CCP's intentions are pretty clear. They want to control the world. In 1904, Halford John Mackinder published a theory for how a modern nation could do just that. Yeah...real kitchen table stuff. But it's the stuff your kids will learn in school one day if we don’t stop what’s happening now. Mackinder broke the world down into three sections, the World-Island, the offshore islands, and the outlying islands. Let's take a look at the map. Here's what it all means. As you can see, the biggest chunk of land is the World-Island. By far. It's also home to 86.61% of the world's population and over half its resources. But it's been impossible to control. Because even in the 21st century, most cargo travels on boats. And look at all that open land. That's a long drive on the family wagon with the kids whining "are we there yet". Now try transporting enough supplies to feed an army and build an empire. Not going to happen. Mackinder thought that trains had the potential to change the game. Now you can move unlimited supplies and people. So why hasn't anyone built railroads there yet? Because they'd have to have complete control over the Heartland, that middle area that links Africa, Asia, and Europe together (also called the Pivot Area).
No one's been able to get it done, but they've sure tried. That's why there are always wars in the Middle East. The UK, Russia, France, and even the US have all taken turns trying to control the Heartland over the last 100 years. And now that the US has pulled out of Afghanistan, guess who's making deals with the Taliban for control of its land and resources? You guessed it...Hungary. Just kidding. The answer is China. And we should mention that the Afghanistan withdrawal was horribly executed. Giving up Bagram airfield was a major tactical mistake, and now China is considering operations out of Bagram. If China conquers the Heartland, the Afghanistan withdrawal may be one of the most important events in history. ![]() ![]() So, they're taking control of the Heartland. What do they plan to do with it? Enter One Belt, One Road. First, China makes loans to developing countries in the Heartland so that they can build infrastructure. Then, when they inevitably can't repay them, China gets control of the assets. They're quietly building a network of railroads across the Heartland as we speak. And they're doing it with the help of a few friends. Russia takes up a large part of the World-Island. But it has a small economy that's dependent on natural resources. So China recently locked in a contract to buy Russian resources. It's a win-win for them. China gets cheap energy to power its economy. And Russia gets to lock in its profits. The only losers are, well, everyone else. Five days after the deal was announced, Russia invaded Ukraine. The Chinese Communist Party is building a new axis of countries that hate freedom and hate America. And that's bad news for Main Streeters. ![]() But a small farming community in East Asia could tear the whole thing apart. The Uyghurs. That's why the CCP hates them. And that's why the Uyghurs are being oppressed. It's the story of the century. Now you know the reasons why. In our next article, we'll explain the horrors of the Uyghur genocide, and hopefully, it'll inspire you to do your part and help end it. This is the way. -Jeff and Luke |
