Netflix is forming an in-house game studio to create original games without ads or in-app purchases. It chose to build its studio in Helsinki, Finland due to the concentration of game talent in the region. The company is increasingly focused on creating original content to bring in more subscribers. NASA crashed a spacecraft into an asteroid at 7:14 PM ET last night. The Double Asteroid Redirection Test mission aims to see how much the impact changed the movement of the asteroid. It is part of a planetary defense experiment. The agency is testing whether it is possible to redirect the path of an asteroid heading towards Earth. This Company Says It’s One Step Closer to an Invisibility Cloak (7 minute read)

Vollebak, a UK-based company, has developed a prototype of a thermal camouflage jacket that may be a step toward a true invisibility cloak. It uses a graphene-based material that becomes reflective to infrared thermal radiation when it absorbs electrons. Vollebak's camouflage jacket is made up of 42 panels, each of which can be programmed to control how much thermal radiation it emits. The jacket is not yet ready for sale as users still need to be physically connected to a computer.
