My Top 3 is a weekly post where I countdown three things I love in a random category. This week, we’re looking my top three travel hacks.

I am not a good traveler. I like seeing new places, but I hate the process of getting there. I am a Type A planner and I find travelling comes with too many variables I can’t control. My long suffering husband can attest that I am the person who wants to leave for the airport four hours early - just in case. If teleportation was a thing, I would gladly use that instead of going by plane, train, or automobile.

When it comes to travel hacks, I don’t mean gear to buy or ways to save money. I mean the little things that make my life as a nervous traveler easier. These hacks help me prepare both mentally and physically for a trip.
