Flavio - JavaScript Course -2 weeks

Hi Reader!

I'm Flavio and I'm here with a new edition of my newsletter.

I want to talk you about my new JavaScript Course I'm launching on November 22.

But first, as I started writing I was thinking about something. I haven't been super consistent lately with the newsletter. I used to call it "weekly" but now it's mostly "when I want". I just realized I skipped an entire month in September. I didn't have much to say, perhaps.

With creative work you can do two things, generally speaking. One thing is being consistent. You probably know one of those youtubers that post 1 video every. single. week, or twice a week. Or like me with blogging, I had periods when I wrote one post every day (recently stopped for a well deserved - I think - pause, but I'm planning a comeback soon!)

The other thing you can do is to work-work-work for a while, maybe quietly or just teasing some previews, and then release something "big", a one-off big effort rather than a "recurring" work.

In this period I am doing the "big effort" thing.

One example of this is publishing entire books instead of blog posts, for example.

My project The Valley of Code is one of those. Did you know I wrote 15 books and you can download them all for free? I can't remember how I found the time to write them all. I guess one at a time.

I heard a talk about 3 different "jobs" you can do: $10/h jobs, $100/h jobs, $1000/h jobs.

Writing a blog post is a $10/h job.

Writing an ebook is a $100/h job.

Building a course or working on a software product is a $1000/h job.

Figuratively speaking.

Now I am working on 3 big projects at the same time.

1) The first is still secret. It's brand new. After thinking about it for way too long, I registered the domain name 3 days ago. It's happening. I'll let you know when I'll have more to show.

2) The second thing I'm working on is the 2023 edition of the Web Development Bootcamp. I'm super excited about this too, as this will be the 4th edition and I'm doing a complete rewrite of the course, to make it the best edition ever. That's my goal, every year. Registrations open at the end of January, to start the new year on the right way. Stay tuned for this.

3) The third project I'm working on is the new JAVASCRIPT COURSE I'm launching on NOVEMBER 22, exactly 2 weeks from now!

This is project #3 in the list, but it's super high priority, right now.

That's what I'm working the most of my waking hours, these days.

Want to learn more?

This in-depth course will help you learn JavaScript quickly and effectively, with a mix of lessons and videos, exercises and demos.
