[Crew Review] Amazon halts summary account suspension

Many accounts have been summarily suspended over the years, leaving sellers scratching their heads and panicking. Amazon's new benefit puts an end to this practice so that sellers have a chance to explain their side before they’re kicked out.

But there’s always a catch.

The Amazon Imagery Rule That Increased Our Conversion Rates by 25%

Our multimedia and graphics designers are always hard at work in improving our Amazon listing images. The ultimate goal is to increase conversion rates by providing attractive and informative images.

We’ve experimented with a lot of styles and techniques, and we’ve finally come across one that has significantly increased our conversion rates across all our eight brands.

We’re sharing this technique publicly for the first time during our webinar on November 22 at 10 AM (PST). It’s just one of the things you’ll be learning in this jam-packed 45-minute session.

Save your seat.

Amazon’s New Seller Verification Technology

Amazon is testing out a new simplified experience to make it easier to verify new sellers’ identities and the authenticity of their government-issued IDs. It’s also a way to detect bogus sellers better.

The technology uses facial recognition and liveness detection to match the would-be seller to the identification documents presented. Amazon is looking to make the approval automatic in the future. But for now, after the system does its job, it will still be manually reviewed by staff to make sure no errors occurred.

Currently, this verification process is still optional and is available only in the United States, but Amazon will roll this out to more countries after the trial period.

Instagram’s Subscription for Creators

In the spirit of doubling down on its creator-focused features, Instagram recently rolled out a subscription option that allows creators to offer exclusive content for a fee. It’s a way for them to earn recurring income and reward loyal followers with badges that help them stand out in the comments and DMs.

In order to qualify, a content creator must be over 18 years old and have at least 10,000 followers. The feature is currently available in the US, but tests are being conducted for creators in Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

So for all of you who are planning to collaborate with Instagram influencers, make sure that you’re aware of this feature and emphasize in your contract that the promotion should be viewable by the public and not just to subscribers. And don’t forget to remind the influencer about the FTC’s guidelines.

Etc.

Suing over delivery delay. A class action was filed against Amazon for the alleged misrepresentation of same-day and two-day delivery to its Prime members.

Is Jeff giving away his money? For the first time ever, Jeff Bezos revealed his plans to give away most of his money for causes he supports, particularly those involving climate change.

Going green. A study reveals that 40% of consumers are willing to pay more for eco-conscious products during the holidays. So you better highlight that in your marketing campaigns.

Need More Capital?

Taking your revenue from a few thousand to 7 or 8 figures is no easy task. Even if you know the most advanced strategies in marketing and listing optimization, you wouldn’t be able to do much if you don’t have the money for inventory.

There are multiple ways of getting more funding, but it requires you to assume a lot of risks and have you praying for enough sales to cover the monthly payments.

What if you only paid when you actually have profits? Or what if you had the option to not pay the loan for a certain time so you can use your profits to grow your business even more?

It’s possible with AccrueMe.
