First, the white paper states that more ATOM tokens will be minted for use in the Community Pool, but community members are concerned that this will have a negative impact on the price of ATOM tokens; Second, community members suggested that liquidity pledges should have a pledge cap to reduce the systemic risk of theft from the pledge pool; and third, the new proposal/white paper should unite the community, not divide it. News: ATOM 2.0 proposal rejected on November 14 with more than 33.4% of votes cast without Veto (37.39 percent). The proposal pertains to modifications in the new white paper, such as allowing other chains to employ Hubs to protect the network and reducing the quantity of new atoms produced each month from exponential to constant after a 36-month transition period.
