HubSpot decided to analyze which CTAs in their blog posts are the most efficient in generating leads.
This experiment is especially important for those who don't want to place popups, as they hurt SEO.
The results of this test increased HubSpot’s conversion rate by an average of 121%...
So here’s what they uncovered:
1. End-of-post banner CTAs contributed an average of just 6% of total leads.
2. 47%-93% of all post leads came from the anchor text CTA alone.
The view-to-lead conversion rate of posts that didn't previously have an anchor text CTA increased by an average of 121% when anchor text CTAs were added.
