Semi

Tesla Semi drives 500 miles 📹
Here is a sped-up version of the 500-mile drive of the Semi, fully loaded, on a single charge. According to the presentation, the Semi was capable of traveling 500 miles without stopping to charge while pulling 82,000 pounds. Impressive, right? And that's not all - Tesla's new Megacharger will be able to charge the Semi's battery up to 80% in just 30 minutes, at a power level of 1 MW. Holy smokes!

Quick recap video of the Tesla Semi Event 📹
If you've ever seen Arash's (aka Minimal Duck) pictures or videos, you know that he has great talent and creates beautiful content. Arash was lucky enough to get invited to the Semi event. He produced and uploaded a video of the event, so go watch it!

Supercharging

V4 Superchargers will charge at 1MW 📹
As mentioned above, the 1 MW DC charging capability will be coming to the Superchargers next year. To make this technology useful, Tesla has made some innovative changes, such as submerging the cables in coolant to enable them to transport more energy without becoming too thick. These improvements are a big step forward in EV charging and will provide an exceptional user experience.

Cybertruck

Estimating the Cybertruck charging curve from 4680 real-life test data 📷
The Tesla Semi delivery event was full of exciting announcements, but one that really stood out was the reveal that the Cybertruck will be able to charge at an incredible rate of 1 MW. According to a Reddit user who created a charging curve using real-life test data for the 4680 batteries, the Cybertruck will be able to go from 10% SOC to 80% in just 12 minutes. This level of rapid charging is truly game-changing. 🤯

Tesla shows off a smaller, two-door Cybertruck design at the Petersen Museum 📷
As we mentioned a few weeks ago, there is an exhibition at the Petersen Museum in LA covering the history of Tesla. This exhibition not only has cars on display, but also sketches, art, and even neon lights like the one for the Cybertruck. One piece of artwork that caught people's attention is a picture of a 2-door version of the Cybertruck. Could this be a potential, compact version of Tesla's pickup truck? We don't know for sure, but it could make sense in many countries where the current Cybertruck is too large to maneuver easily.

Tesla’s Chief Designer On The Cybertruck 📹
Don't let the clickbait title fool you - the interview with Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla's Chief Designer, is a must-see. Franz shares his experiences working at Tesla, working side-by-side with Elon Musk since 2008, and designing some of the company's most iconic vehicles, including the revolutionary Cybertruck. Watch it to learn more about the man behind the designs that are shaping the future of transportation.

Software updates
