HEATED - A quick note
Bad news: I was pretty sick for the first few days this week. Just a chest cold, fortunately, but man—it took me out! So unfortunately, I won’t have a real newsletter for you this week. I need a few more days to finish up the stories I’ve been working on. Good news: If you’re a paid subscriber, we’re having a HEATED chat today about our unpopular climate opinions. Just open the Substack app on your phone to participate. Further instructions at this link, if you need them. Even better news: I’m running a 33% discount on all new annual subscriptions until the end of the year! That means new yearly subscribers will pay only $50/year instead of $75/year. That comes out to just $4 dollars a month to support the independent climate reporting and analysis you trust. This is the biggest discount I’ve ever given on annual subscriptions, and the reason is pretty exciting: In January, HEATED will be bringing on a new, full-time, salaried reporter. That means, come 2023, this newsletter will be supporting not just myself, but another, even cooler human! I can’t wait to tell you more about them. December is also our biggest churn month—in other words, it’s the month when most yearly subscriptions end, so we see the most subscriber drop-off. So if you’ve been thinking about supporting this work, but have hesitated for whatever reason, now would be an incredibly meaningful time to join this fight. More soon. Ta-ta! You're currently a free subscriber to HEATED. For the full experience, upgrade your subscription. |
