Hannah, Peri 3D Construction, and Cive are 3D printing a two-story home in Houston. Construction of the 4000-square-foot home will take around 330 hours using a printer that weighs more than 12 tons. The three-bedroom home has wooden framing and is made out of concrete which can withstand hurricanes, heavy storms, and other severe weather. Using the printer means fewer construction workers are needed as the printer does all of the heavy lifting.
A New Treatment for Arthritis: Vagus-Nerve Stimulation (5 minute read)

SetPoint Medical plans to release preliminary results of a device called Reset-RA later this year. Reset-RA was designed to target rheumatoid arthritis, but if the trial is successful, trials for other autoimmune diseases could follow. The implant, which is placed next to the vagus nerve, stimulates the nerve up to four times daily for one minute. It targets the inflammatory reflex, which indirectly controls immune responses to infection and injury.
