Gala Games Playtests, Influence Launch and Asteroid Sale, Splinterlands land gameplay, Bored Ape Power Sources, and more! -- Play to Earn #167

Welcome to the 167th edition of the Play to Earn newsletter!

I love a busy week because that means that there is a lot going on with web3 gaming. And this was certainly a busy week!

The Gala Games ecosystem is quickly turning into a beehive of activity as they announce a number of playtests for their games, including The Walking Dead: Empires later this month. Bored Apes who ventured into the sewers can now claim their Power Source NFTs and begin preparing for a Second Trip to the Otherside!

In the world of TCGs, Gods Unchained announced a new set, called Band of the Wolf, available only for four weeks. And Splinterlands dropped a hefty set of documentation outlining their planned gameplay for what they refer to as phase 1.5.

Hunters On-Chain, a hot, new game, finished up their first playtest tournament, but players can still join in the test server and earn rewards that will carry over to the game launch! And speaking of launches, Influence announced their plans for their game to begin this summer!
