Harvard geneticists create an organism that is immune to all viruses (5 minute read) Researchers from George Chuch's Harvard lab have successfully engineered E. coli bacteria to become potentially immune to all viruses. The bacteria is dependent on an amino acid that doesn't exist in the wild. It is unable to survive outside of the lab.
