Rob Lee on the CreativeMornings/Baltimore stage

“Your truth isn’t the only truth. Lean in and seek to understand. Go deep and do it again.”

Rob Lee is a data analyst by day, storyteller and podcaster by night. Both of these skillsets allow Lee to get granular looking at root causes, through stories and numbers, to get at the truth. As a Black Baltimore native, he often finds himself having to defend his city from untrue narratives. To set the record straight, he reached out to people across Baltimore, who don’t often get the opportunity to share their stories, and asked, “What is the truth of this place you?” On his Truth in this Art podcast, Lee has interviewed nearly 500 people from Baltimore and beyond. Settle in and listen to Rob Lee’s talk for CreativeMornings/Baltimore like a cozy podcast episode.

Our May theme is "Acceptance," chosen by CreativeMornings/Lexington. What things in your life have you struggled to accept? What forms of grace have you given yourself? What does acceptance feel like to you? Whether it’s a story, image, observation, song, poem, or other artifact, you can share your submissions in this form by Tuesday, April 25. We’ll feature a round-up in our newsletter issue next Thursday!
