Cybertruck

Tesla Cybertruck alpha prototype interior and exterior spotted at the Fremont factory 📹
The alpha prototype of Tesla's Cybertruck has been spotted at the company's Fremont factory, with photos and videos showcasing both the interior and exterior. The Cybertruck's design never leaves anyone indifferent, and Tesla's team is going the extra mile to ensure it meets people's expectations.  I can't wait to see this truck on the streets!

We have more close-up pictures of the Cybertruck, courtesy of this week's event at the new Tesla lithium refinery in Texas.

Model S Plaid

Model S Plaid track pack 📹
The Model S Plaid track pack is set to be available in June, boasting features such as a carbon ceramic brake kit with track-ready brake fluid, Zero-G wheels, and Goodyear Supercar 3R tires. In a video posted by Tesla on Twitter, we get a glimpse of a car equipped with the pack, showcasing the Model S reaching an astonishing speed of 322 km/h or 200 mph. Quite mind-boggling, isn't it? 🤯

Under the hood

How Tesla releases software updates and when you will get an update
This article on Not a Tesla App outlines Tesla's innovative approach to software updates. Distinguishing itself from other automakers, Tesla employs a system of extensive testing, staged rollouts, and real-world fleet testing. Larger rollouts occur when changes reach the 'master' stage, while smaller ones are used to test fixes.

Model 3 & Y

Model 3 Highland new reverse lights 📷
Here's a new photo of what is rumored to be Project Highland, a significant refresh of the Model 3 exterior. They have been seeing different photos for a while now, I wonder what is Tesla waiting for.

Model Y Midnight Cherry 📷
Check out these fantastic pictures of a Midnight Cherry Model Y at a Tesla pop-up event in Oslo, Norway.

FSD

Tesla to offer 1-month FSD trials once it's "super smooth"
The Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta continues to improve remarkably. This week, Elon mentioned on Twitter that Tesla plans to offer a one-month trial of FSD in North America once it becomes incredibly smooth. This offering will extend globally as the system performs well in more countries and regulators approve it.

FSD v12 will have end-to-end AI
I remember years ago when Andrej Karpathy was talking about software 2.0 and how most of the Autopilot code was what he was calling code 1.0. Code 2.0 refers to AI, where a neuronal net is making predictions or making decisions based on inputs, while code 1.0 is the most traditional programming, where the code is explicitly covering every single case. It's crazy to think that soon the entire stack will be AI.

🤓 What the acronym
As a Tesla fan, I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
  • AI - Artificial Intelligence
  • FSD - Full Self-Driving
